Vivien’s counselling approach is holistic and centered on you as the client. Vivien has experience helping men, women, pre-teens/teens and families through difficult issues such as social anxiety, emotional sensitivity, low self-worth, sensory overwhelm, loneliness, anger, stress, depression, self-harm and communication.
Some counselling approaches Vivien tailors to meet her client’s needs, include; Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Compassion Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. She uses an attachment and trauma informed lens, helping you go beyond a cognitive understanding of the present day issue and explore the underlying emotional needs and responses.
